About Divtex, LLC

Founded in 2001, we offer web site and email hosting as well as computer and network support for small businesses in the Greater Baton Rouge area with most of our customers being in the South Baton Rouge and Gonzales areas.

In 2001 we started as a small web development firm to offer custom dynamic websites primarily to start up businesses in the area.  While the majority of our customers were in Baton Rouge, some were as far as Texas and Tennessee (and they are still with us).

In 2006, we opened a retail store front on highway 44 in Gonzales, LA to offer computer support services to residential customers as well as commerical customers.  While the store excelled in commercial computer support and hosting services still expanded, residential support proved not to be profitable enough to operate a fully staffed retail store.

So, in November 2008, we reorganized and got back to what made us strong in the beginning: focusing our efforts on web and email services as well as providing the best computer support service to other businesses in the area who value knowledgeable support and service.

In 2009, we have continued to adapt and with these changing times.  In the area of computer support services, we have started to move away from the old concept of pay-by-the-hour support services in favor of clear cut support package pricing.  The result has been clearer cost estimation for our customers and a better ability on our part to provide the best service around, since we are not racing with the dollar clock in addressing each support ticket.

In the area of web and email hosting, we have simplified our offering to one plan which fits over 90% of our customers and our intended future customers.  For one set price per month, you get a great, self manageable website and email hosting with full support and free training--which we have found to be unbeatable in our market.
